Beau currently serves as a Senior Director at Cambiar Catalyst.
The Cambiar Catalyst Fellowship accelerates the most promising diverse talent into instructionally-focused senior school systems roles, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to work with their communities and enact transformational change.
As a Senior Director and a founding member of the Fellowship, Beau is responsible for the design and implementation of our coaching services and manages our team of coaches. Beau also manages alumni services, including: our annual alumni convening, career counseling, resume review, and interview preparation. Beyond this, Beau leads our communications and marketing efforts, playing a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of Catalyst.
Prior to transitioning the Fellowship to Cambiar Education in January 2017, Beau had been on staff at Teach For America since the fall of 2010 working on the National Alumni Affairs Education Leadership team. Beau supported talent matching efforts for over 150 annual requests for open cabinet-level and superintendent roles nationally.
Prior to joining TFA, Beau worked with TNTP in Chicago, IL in partnership with Academy for Urban School Leadership, helping to staff turnaround schools. He has also lead a team of job developers supporting youth, adults, and seniors in job readiness training and placement on the South and West sides of Chicago while working at Easter Seals. Beau spent a year working with Upward Bound in New Orleans as a researcher and teacher supporting high school students to be college ready.
Beau has a Masters in Leadership and Policy Studies from DePaul University and B.A. in Psychology from Tulane University. Beau was named a DePaul Public Service Fellow and Chaddick Scholar for outstanding academic and community achievement. He lives in New Orleans, LA.
